How to convert from METERS to CHAINS

Since 1 meter is equal to 0.050 chains, we could say that n meters are equal to 0.050 times n chains. In other words, we could use the following formula:

chains = meters x 0.050

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 meters to chains. Then, we just replace meters in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

chains = 2.0 x 0.050

That is, 2.0 meters are equal to 0.099 chains.
